Grud has listened to your chants for better security for your rooms and has has rescinded the previous decree of each level of guards overriding and replacing the currently-placed guards. (The Marketplace write-ups will be adjusted accordingly and the Lair Guards will be made available for purchase.)

Going forth, persons who wish to purchase lair guards may purchase UP TO FIVE of varying types, while still not exceeding the stipulated maximum stated for each type of guard.

Reminder: You have the opportunity to add the following protectors to your room:

-> Hearth Demons (max 5)

-> Guardian Statues (max 3)

-> Clay Golems (max 2)

-> Guardian Demon (max 1)

-> Pet Cat (max 1*)

-> Pet Dog (max 1*)

• NOTE: Pets can stack to a maximum of 2 total pets, either 2 of one type or 1 of each type.

For example: Any of the following configurations would be acceptable:

-> 5 Hearth Demons

-> 1 Cat, 1 Dog, 1 Guardian Demon, and 2 Clay Golems

-> 4 Hearth Demons and 1 Guardian Demon

etc... I am sure you get the idea.

You may not exceed the stipulated maximums, so the following examples would NOT be accepted:

-> 5 Guardian Demons

-> 5 Pet Cats (I know - it's tempting!)
