As you are all aware, we have an extremely finite number of staff and we have a very large amount of work to do. We need to increase our player-base considerably to achieve our goal; to keep the game fully supported and growing; to be even bigger and better than it ever was before. We can either have new areas and dynamic new content, or we can spend (literally) an hour or more for each of the many obscure quest-related questions that we are receiving and waste the days that way.

We have no choice - we must prioritize what we have to get done to get us where we need to be. This is to keep the game online for all of us.

When you consider the (very) tight timeline that we have to accomplish this, the Seer Anthea and her services fall way down there. Especially when you consider the rest of the goals that Thelonious and Grud have planned for us all and the future of The Majic Realm.

And it is for this reason that, as incredible as she is, Anthea the Seer must retire. This may or may not be a permanent retirement. She may return (in a more limited fashion) once we have the time and capacity needed to research and properly consider each of your answers appropriately.

We understand that many of you have waited a long time for your answers, and we are genuinely sorry about that. For issues that were raised to Anthea, asking whether something was working, please know that what your questions did do was bring the issue you asked about to our attention. Once we get to the stage where we have the time to invest in those investigations, we will do so, definitely. So no, your effort was not wasted and it will be all investigated - just not immediately. A lot of the old content is there, still waiting to be discovered. It will just have to wait a little longer.

Unfortunately, it actually takes far more time to investigate the old quest-lines than it does to build and expand dungeons, re-balance and expand the classes, add additional training rooms, introduce new spells and songs, plan and execute events, etc.
