Misc Commands
MISCELLANEOUS COMMANDS
The following are a list of general-purpose commands that don't fall into one of the other categories:
reroll, suicide, setterm, quit, bye, logout, aid, join, invite, emote, help, terse, verbose, drag,
guard, bet, hit, stand, double, gangform, gangunjoin, gangjoin, gangevict, ganginvite

| reroll | Kills your character. You are given the options of simply losing a life or losing your character completely. (Sometimes this is useful for getting out of a no-win situation.) | REROLL | |
| suicide | Kills your character. You are given the options of simply losing a life or losing your character completely. (Sometimes this is useful for getting out of a no-win situation.) | SUI | |
| setterm | Lets you set your terminal type (eg: ANSI) | SET | |
| quit | Exits the Majic Realm | Q | |
| bye | Exits the Majic Realm | BYE | |
| logout | Exits the Majic Realm | LOGOUT | |
| aid name | Renders first aid to a bleeding player | AID BOB | |
| join name | If someone has invited you, it lets him move around, and you will automatically follow him around. You can break away at any time simply by moving in a different direction. To leave a group, type "join none". | J BOB | |
| invite name | If you invite someone, and then they join you, you will be able to lead them around as you travel from room to room. | INV BOB | |
| emote text | Useable only in taverns, it lets you say or do anything you want. i.e. While in Golden Goblet, Type EMOTE and hit return, then type your action! | EM | |
| help | Takes you to the HELP menu | HELP | |
| terse | Shortens room descriptions. These speeds up your movement in areas you have already explored in the past. | TER | |
| verbose | Shuts off terse mode. | VER | |
| drag name | Lets you drag an unconscious person. This is good for getting a downed friend out of a hazardous situation. | DRAG BOB | |
| guard | Causes you to go on the total defensive. You will be harder to hit, harder to rob, but you can't move or attack. | GUA | |
| guard name | Allows you to protect another player. You will block all blows aimed at the person you protect, in addition to any that would normally be directed at you. | GUA BOB | |
| bet # | In blackjack, an amount in coppers to bet | BET 1000 | |
| hit | In blackjack, indicates you want a card | HIT | |
| stand | In blackjack, to stay with your hand | STAND | |
| double | In blackjack. Double your bet and draw just 1 more card | DOUBLE | |
| gangform | If you have over 100,000 exp you can form your own gang! | GANGFORM | |
| gangunjoin | Lets you leave a gang if you have second thoughts. | GANGUNJOIN | |
| gangjoin | If you have been invited into a gang, you type this to accept the invitation. | GANGJOIN | |
| gangevict name | Boot out an unwanted gang member. | GANGEVICT BOB | |
| ganginvite name | Invite someone to join your gang. | GANGINVITE BOB |
